Based on the author Lois P Frankel, nice girls’ mistake #3:

Dancing around pregnancy.

This is a tough subject and the author even knew she will get hate mails for this.

From breaking down the news to your boss, to trying to convince people that the pregnancy shall not be a problem - is tough. Especially if this is your 1st pregnancy.

From my personal experience, not everyone is lucky enough to have a smooth pregnancy and when you are expecting for the 1st time, you would not know what to expect.

In the book, the author wrote that you need to prove to your boss that the pregnancy shall not be a turning point to your career that you will perform and deliver as usual. Personally, I think that should go without saying.

Pregnancy will be a turning point in your life! You are having a baby and starting a family. Finding a balance through that can be daunting having to live with that for 9 months.

I shan't agree or disagree to this because it is what it is - an act of nature. If your pregnancy is messy, it will affect your life; both personal and career. Sometimes it is under your control, so stressing about it does more harm than good.

If you are lucky enough to have an easy breezy pregnancy, power thru my friend! You're doing good!
