Book Discussion: Nice Girls (Still) Don't Get the Corner Office Introduction

This book initiates plenty of interesting discussion. The original edition listed out “101 Unconscious Mistakes Women Makes that Sabotages Their Careers”. In the updated version, there are 133!

There are parts to this book that I agree and some I do not. To begin with, the book samples the working women in Corporate America, therefore it does not necessarily reflects working women in European and Asian regions. Some commented that the author too often refers men’s behaviour in the book (as opposed to women’s) as right. Bringing food to office is also deemed as ‘being nice’, well if you live in Southeast Asian region – that is just a good common sense.
